Healing on the Streets

SHOTS – Stortford Healing on the Streets

Healing on the Streets is available in Market Square, Bishop’s Srortford, every Saturday from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Everyone is welcome to be prayed for.

The Healing on the Streets initiative started in Coleraine, Northern Ireland by Mark Marx of the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church and has been spreading around the UK and other places in Europe since.

The way it works is quite simple. Several chairs are put out on the street near a large flag or banner and a handful of local Christians wait. When a passer by would like prayer they sit down on one of the seats. A small group of people will then gather to pray with them. All done quietly and sensitivily. Because God loves people so much, people are often healed.

There are some remarkable stories of God healing people in towns and cities in the UK on the Healing on the Streets website.
