Little Worship – St. James’ baby & toddler group, meets at 10am on Wednesday mornings in the Emmaus Centre during term time. Through songs, stories, play and arts & crafts activities, we gently introduce the children to God, praise, prayer and the Church environment. We are a welcoming and thriving group of parents, grandparents, carers and under-5s, who enjoy getting together for lively sessions full of friendship, fellowship and fun!
Little Worship normally follows the same format with a different theme each week. Once the group activities are finished, we bring out the toys so the children can play and the grown-ups can enjoy a chat over coffee. The meeting on the first Wednesday of every month is slightly different, with a Communion service held in the Church. Children are very welcome at this service – it is especially designed for them, with lots of singing (and dancing!), toddler-friendly praise and worship.
