Cathy: Starts her second semester in Kampala shortly. Andy: Graduated in December and is looking for work in Arua, his home town after his first dairy business attempt failed for lack of sponsorship. He asks for our prayers as he tries again. Amos: Continues to work for Medecin Sans Frontiers in Arua, and care for his father.

Sunday Refreshments in the Church Room: Soup & a roll lunches start again TODAY. 12:30-2:30pm in the Church Room.

Knitting Group: We are meeting again in the Emmaus Centre next Saturday, 21st January, from 11am to 4pm. We will be knitting stuff for the homeless, to be distributed by the Salvation Army, as well as things to keep seaman warm by the Sailors Society. And Refuge still want blankets for women and children, and Rosie’s for prem babies. So plenty to do.

Come for all or part of the day. Hot drinks and biscuits supplied, bring your own lunch. Wool, needles & patterns are supplied. We make a charge of £3 to cover heating and postage for the finished items.

Sunday 22nd January: Simon Allaby (Who led our Parish Weekend Away) will be preaching at both services and will be sharing his recent experiences in Colombia.

Hearts for Mission: Please join the allnations team for an evening exploring God’s mission and how we can each play our part. The evening will include worship, testimonies and time for reflection and discussion. Come to be challenged, encouraged and inspired! Tuesday 31st January and repeated on Thursday 2nd February at 7.30-9.30pm in the St Barnabas Centre.
