Today, Sunday 22nd January: Simon Allaby (who led our Parish Weekend Away) will be preaching at both services and will be sharing his recent experiences in Colombia.

Thank you from Chris Quaresima: I would like to thank all those who prayed or sent cards after my operation – I spent 3 days in hospital with no pain at all. God bless you all, Chris.

Thinking Faith Through: This group which was formerly ?Doubters Anonymous? Restarts on Tuesday 24th January at 7.45pm at 59 Penningtons. This group is for Christians who desire the opportunity to think through the difficult questions posed for our faith perhaps because at times they struggle with doubts over some of those issues or because they want to be better equipped to answer challenges raised by non-Christians. For more info contact Peter Skett: peteskett@hotmail.com

Uganda School Fees Initiative: Many thanks to everyone who visited the stall last Sunday and chatted, bought something or made a donation. The total raised was a really encouraging £130. (November’s stall raised £162 including Betsy’s fruit/veg sales) As I have to send Cathy £735 + approx. £20 in transfer fees, this week, you can see how vital your purchases/ donations/prayers are to bolster the long term, faithful giving a group of our church family. THANK YOU! Jan

Hearts for Mission: Please join the allnations team for an evening exploring God’s mission and how we can each play our part. The
evening will include worship, testimonies and time for reflection and discussion. Come to be challenged, encouraged and inspired! Tuesday 31st
January and repeated on Thursday 2nd February at 7.30-9.30pm in the St Barnabas Centre.

New Wine Women Regional Conference: Saturday 24th March, 9am -4pm, “RUN FOR IT!” Tickets are £15/ £10 concessions. Bring your
own lunch. The speakers are Jenny Peters & Julia Chamberlain. The last two conferences have been fabulous; please join us for a wonderful day of teaching, worship and ministry!
