You will recieve a very warm welcome at our Sunday morning services.
We also hold Open House Group Evenings on the first Thursday of each month, 8.00 – 9.45 pm at the barn (St Barnabas Centre) to enable newcomers to meet members of the church family within an informal setting.
These evenings are for people to meet people and to have a flavour of house groups. We mill around with coffee & biscuits for half an hour or so – then split into groups for Christian chatter. There are always two or more house groups around. These evenings are great for people new to St James and for people who don’t wish to be part of a group meeting every week. These evenings help all of us in the church to get to know each other a little better. These evenings are also a useful opportunity to invite friends who might be interested in knowing about Christianity in an informal environment.
